bitless

As Di asked so nicely!! I was really pleased with him again today, lots for me to work on with my position etc but what a good boy he was.

He looks very settled Trudi, how much of that was down to the bit, do you think?
I've never ridden bitless, how does it affect the way you ride? Interesting....

Ditto what Di said...he looks very calm in his head. Nice!

I'm not entirely sure how much is down to the bit, be nice if it was though. I don't know if you could tell in some of the trot work I was riding with one hand because you really need to use outside turning aids and just the odd *tweak* on the inside. Of course I *tweek* more in a bit and so I'm trying to train my hands to respond as a secondary aid after the body turns and just to position the head.

i think bitless makes one think about the seat a lot more and so is good...
