is it over yet?

Oh la la, I've drowned in festivities and can't wait for life to return to normal. I'm stuffed like the christmas turkey on Thai seafood delights and too much fizz. Bah humbug, the mask is seriously slipping. Did I mention I'm not a fan of Christmas and New Year? May you all  have good things awaiting in the new year and if you don't...? then pray you be granted the good humour to cope. Did I mention I'm not a fan of.......

Now you enjoy your Thai delicacies, (sounds marvellous!) as the new millenium will come anyway.

All the best wishes for the new year, Trudi - to you, your family and the animals!

I don't really like New Year, we're having a quiet one at home, it's rather nice. Wishing you and your family a healthy, happy 2010 filled with many magical moments. xxx

I'm not much of a holiday person either, but please have a happy New Year!

These days, I'm getting into the spirit of New Year. Although if I'm with my family it tends to be a rather introverted affair, as we miss those no longer with us :( It's all very melancholy at home so I go out!

Happy New Year to you, and hope life is returning to normal now :)

Did see the New Year in in style! Unusual for us as I always did the early shift (0530) on New Year's Day. But I'm retired now, so we can party. But no hangover as four horses to muck out on 1 Jan and you don't do that with a hangover!!

Very best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year to all the blog readers. It's been great fun sharing adventures, thoughts, ideas, happy moments and those not so happy. Please may it continue.

It' been a beautiful start to the New Year in MK - very sunny, but COLD! At least the mud in the fields is hard. Helps keep mud fever at bay!

And so tomorrow we start to get back to normal, whatever that may be for you.

S xx

Thanks guys, I guess I should just join the cast of grumpy old women. I just don't 'get' the hype of the season; to be fair though I had a lovely time because of the people I spent it with and not because of how much it cost me, lol, better start saving for next year.
