Chatting today with Di I realised how much I miss having a trainer. It's not that there are no trainers in our parts, there are plenty but it's having a trainer that one trusts and those are as rare as hen's teeth! I can quite ably 'help myself' with video but it's not in the present, the here and now, so it takes longer to adjust the picture and get results. I guess it's pointless to wish for what you can't have so I'll just carry on the best I can and enjoy the process but one little wish surely wouldn't hurt?

That'd be my wish too! So, if you could have anyone, who would it be?
I loved Inger who I trained with in the UK but I imagine now we may have some differences of opinion LOL. It's not easy when you chuck away the bit, you rule out most sane trainers. What about Viv's trainer Di, isn't she a Blondeau trained person?
Yes, I think so. I've never seen her ride or train though.
My heart stopped as I read this, I thought perhaps the horses had taken themselves on a hack :o
Finding the right trainer feels like the search for The Holy Grail. Sometimes it even feels like the Monty Python version of that story *lol*
with danni, seeing that title!
but i agree, a trainer that one can relate to, who is coming from the same "place", is very difficult to find!
Know how you feel, Trudi. Lost my favourite trainer to a new life in Franced!!
Yea...I have had that 'Missing" feeling too..hope not for long after we settle in to the new place.
That's gotta be difficult, going without. My confidence needs the yeys on the ground..and the mare loves it when I stop focusing in on her, and breath, and you know!
Hope maybe someone you respect can be found soon. Would be a nice.
KK
aw thanks Sheila!
KK I'm sure your confidence will be flying soon!
