When choosing our area for relocation it was my husband who settled on the South West of England so it was over that area that the pin hovered! It is an outstandingly wild and beautiful National Park of 267 square miles and in some ways not unlike the area of France that we lived. A bonus is being close to the sea; Exmoor's coastal cliffs and wild rolling moorland never fails to surprise!

Your horse is gorgeous!! I love him. Your new home looks very pretty too. I bet you are having so much fun exploring. :) Can you ride in the National Park? That would be so awesome!!
It looks lovely!
Thanks guys. The horses barn is in the park so no problems riding there :)
Just now catching up. I'm glad I didn't miss this entirely. You have very good taste when choosing parts of the planet. I have always loved the uninterrupted views over moorland and ocean.
Thanks ER, I wouldn't blame you not being up to date with things at the moment! Hope all goes well with the patient!
Trudi, wowee, this area looks to be straight out of "Doc Martin"...we love to watch it on the BBC.
Loverly place to reside and to RIDE!! I envy you, with those rolling view. Chapsi looks so fabulous!
Can't wait to catch up.
Thanks for the sweet sentiments to me too...I am feeling pretty fine these days.

Thanks Kacy, it is lovely down this way and not so far from Cornwall and Doc Martin country...we love it too and Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) is a great supporter of the horse!
